Fresh beef


Most of our meat comes from our male Jerseys and cross breds (Jersey X Angus mostly).
They stay outside for most of the year, just grazing the fields, being happy cows!

Sometime we process the older retired dairy cow. We call this vintage beef. 
Vintage beef has more flavour but is a little tougher, so you will need to adjust your cooking method. 
 
When they are ready for slaughter, we take them to a small local abbatoir to be slaughtered. 
The carcass is brought back to the farm where it's left to mature for 3- 4 weeks. This brings out the delicious flavour and makes the meat more tender. 

We cut the meat ourselves in our little but busy butchery. 

You're able to buy our Organic Jersey beef when we have fresh beef in stock. 
Because we sell most of our fresh meat straight from the farm shop we generally don't advertise it on our web shop. If you like to know if we have any fresh beef in, please give us a call

We can also dispatch frozen beef on request. Please be aware that we can't guarantee for your meat to arrive frozen. We do not recommend for the meat to be re-frozen upon delivery.
